RC 1000cc injectors
Walbro 255lph hp fuel pump
t3/62-1 turbo

There's a lot of room for improvement but i have a sleeved 84.5mm block sitting in the garage that will be going in soon. I'm also gonna be upgrading the ignition/fuel system when that motor goes in. We just wanted to see what this was going to make and i was pleasantly suprised.

Nice, ditch those cams for some ITR's or Tuner 1's and you will get a huge gain in power at the same PSI.

I am supprised you made that much with b17a1 cams. Get some Blox Type B or Tuner 1 cams. They both have just about the same specs.

Good power though!

I would say with those cams, prob around 16-17 PSI. Could be wrong though...

^^^ not saying your wrong but man that seems like a lot of power for a stock engine, shitty cams and a 62-1 at 16-17 psi

What if any advantages do you see running e 85? what do you need to do to honda motors to run it? Is it worth running on all motor cars as well? Love the dyno sounds like it'll rip your nuts off in a good way.

I don't know how accurate the duty cycle is on my tunerviewer but i've seen 92% running it on the highway.

Cams would help alot, i just sold my pro1's and am gonna be looking for a set of sk2 stage 2 or something similar.

The psi is around 19-20 only revving to 8200. I'm not trying to make any record numbers or anything, just have it reliable and enjoy it for a little while. I have a sleeved block sitting in my garage and plan on going bigger in the future.

The good thing about E85 IMO are it's resistance to detonation and cost per gallon (which is offset since it takes more fuel to get the same mpg as 93). I know it's possible to make this kind of power on 93 octane but i feel better running E85 and have been very happy with it so far. Some of the all motor cars i've seen running E85 get a pretty decent gain in power over their 93 octane tunes.

why did you sell the pro 1's.. Those cams are the best for your setup. I would not waste my time buying the tuner cams or the blox b's. If you were to buy cams for a b series motor right now for a turbo setup.. i would only buy s2k pro 1's cause they are proven to be the best out there right now..

Depending on the setup, if you have a cast manifold or a log with a turbo smaller than a GT35R the Pro-1's are not for you.... seems the trend is everyone thinks Pro-1's work in every setup and they dont.

that is very true.. But for if someone is going for big power these cams would do you very well.. I would think that these cams would be good for his setup if he is going for more power maybe.. that is all i am saying..

ITR cams would be nice id say...

Im assuming you were very conservitave with the tuning... i made more power with less boost on a smaller turbo..but then again our setups are different! Good **** indeed!

yea but even your old GSR cams own B17 (b16) cams, thats got to be worth 30whp easy right there, and you made how much more over the GSR's with ITR's?.

True... i think i made a good 40whp or so more at the same boost level.. i would have thought the 60-1 would have made more..buttt cams do suck indeed... i know my tuner made 460whp on a stock gsr with gsr cams Sc61@21 psi E85...

I used the money to buy a spare sleeved 84.5mm block. I'll get another set eventually. I've planned to use PRO1's from the get go as im gonna be going with a bigger turbo eventually. This ones about to **** the bed, it's burning a little oil.

I know these cams aren't optimal, that's all i had to get the car running. It's my daily driver after all. Even worse it's a 62-1 that should make a little over the 60-1. This turbos on it's way out anyways, id love to get a billet t3 6262 in there.

Im not 100% sure if it made any difference powerwise but the other day I went to put on my drag radials and couldnt even turn the wheel when the car was jacked up. I serviced the brakes tonight and it spins freely now, the pins were all gunked up and kept the caliper locked on the disk. Im gonna put it back on the dyno and see if it made any difference. The joys of modifying a 19 year old car.

The pro 1's put alot of ware and tare on your valvetrain. More so then the type b's or tuner 1's.

I have seen on a dyno with b16 cams that made 411 at 17 psi. With adding just a 30r turbo and the blox type b's it made 455 whp at 15 PSI. Plus the pro 1's idle SUCK.

just my .02.

I would grap some blox type b's or tuner 1's and watch it make 30+ whp at the same PSI level!
