Default CT26 and H22 and Civic.

Alright, I did this search but didn't find anything so here's my thread:
okay, i'm going to try to be as descriptive as possible. *ALL FIGURES SHOWN AT END*
I've got a '93 USDM H22A1 motor/tranny (Figure 1) in my 97 Civic DX hatch (Figure 2 and Figure 3) with a/c (planning to keep it after turbo)

Already done is an intake, a bent header (Figure 4), an ecutout (Figure 4), a CMstage3 clutch, and tuned Hondata S200 making 180.1whp and 148.2wtq.

For my turbo parts, i've aquired an ssautochrome 38mm wastegate (Figure 5), Mitsubishi Galant VR4 BOV (Figure 6), a Mitsubish EClipse Side mount intercooler (Figure 7), and a 1989 Toyota Supra CT26 Turbo (Behind ihi rhb5 turbo in Figure 7 *bigger one*) with some 3'' charge piping thanks to my AEM CAI and short ram.

*Plan: I've gotta 3.63lbs spring and plan to run the stock boost until i can get a profec b or something bad ***. I'll also, of course, need to upgrade to S200B with a stock fuel system. Custom DP and custom Log style manifold.

My questions:
1. When welding the stock actuator shut on the old turbo, do I have to weld all the way around it or just spot weld it in a few places to make sure it doesn't open?
2. About how much power will i make with this set up. I did a search and found very little with H22 CT26s. How much power should i be expecting with good hondata tune on 6-7lbs?
3. Eh, i forgot right now but i'll post 'em up as I go along. LoL FIgure 8 shows a picture of my engine bay with the a/c lines and front crossmember if anyone has anything to say about clearing a/c.

Figure 1: H22A1.

Figure 2 & 3: 1997 Honda Civic.

Figure 4: Cut out and bent header

Figure 5: 38mm SSautochrome wastegate.

Figure 6: BOV

Figure 7: Intercooler and Turbos

Figure 8: Engine bay

I really don't think you'll be able to fit the Turbo like that.
The ct26's in general are somewhat big turbos, I have seen them make good amounts of power on some different Mr2 setups.

I would weld the WG completly shut, It will most likely still leak out of the flapper.
If you were able to mount the turbo that way it seems you could Make It work with A/C.

(this is DXR) hmm... oops... disregard that picture of the diagram. It's going to sit like a normal turbo . i'm getting the log manifold that sorta looks like the BnC manifold. custom though beacuse we're trying to make the turbo sit as far to the right side as possible and as close to the motor as possible.

I have a friend with a CT-26 turbo on an H22 in an EK chasis. No A/C though. Log manifold, turbo sits on top of the manifold, not hanging below like the rest of honda's. It's tight, but works well.

My gf has a h22 silver ek hatchback just like yours and I am about to do a turbo setup on it as well. It's funny if you look at the majority of the manifolds for h22's they are all logs, or similar to logs. Simply because of space, I really dont think you will be able to mount your turbo like that at all.

Good luck with your project!

Jeff

DUDE... ur gf is THE ****!!! introduce me. =p haha...

any other opinions about spooling time, boost suggestions on a stock motor with stock prelude injectors on hondata? thanks.
