there was a thread on here about how someone got fucked bad by him. got some really shitty parts.
I do not know the whole story becuase Jason seems very nice to me. But it is something that i thought should be brought up for other consumers.
If he tried to fix the problem then thats great
, but like i said, i dont know the whole story behind it

The picture of the log on his website is outdated. He TIGs now.
My CRP log manifold
Sorry for the crappy pictures, I have the world's worst digital camera. There wasn't even any point taking pictures of the inside, there'd be no resolution.

I had to spend $100-150 at a muffler shop getting my DP to not point towards the ground.
I have to replace the turbo manifold because i recieved it partially warped and it never got a flush tight fit to the block. I am willing to take partial responsibility for this simply because I could have put a bit more effort into making the manifold flush to the block but the turbo manifold did come WARPED when i got it and it took me nearly 3-4 hours just to get it on the studs. Lots of manevouring and hitting it with a rubber mallet. and thats pretty UNCOMMON for a log style manifold.
Jason tried his best to help me out and i wont lie about that but even the price i paid for the products, with the amount of headaches ive had and time down with this car, i would neverdeal w/ CRP turbo again. Just wouldnt happen.
For $275 go talk to the guy who runs http://www.spoolinperformance.com His manifolds are the same price and ive never heard a damn bad thing about him. I plan on swapping my loggie for that one.
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=781794 (aw **** the damn place i posted the pictures is down)
BTW: The downpipe WAS NOT free. It was included in the price. I would never in a million years spend $275 for a log manifold except right now since my car has been down for almost 5 mo. from these shitty products.
and thats my picture of my log manifold he stole from me and has used it without my permission and im not even happy with the product. I vouch for Jason being a nice guy, but i really really suggest you do not go to him to buy any welded products.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Sucks to ehar that . . . . I have never heard anything bad about Jason and his work. He does good work from what I have seen but hey . . . we are all human, and we do make mistakes, and he tried to help you out as best as he could. I just don't understand how it caemw arped already.

After reading through your whole post now i realize who you are. Your that guy that tried to cause havick on my good will a while back. And yes the downpipe was free. You bought a log manifold = 275$ and i threw that in since you said you were SO hard up for one and you were"a borke ***". So ialso paid you for half a slim fan.
Anyway that log was made a LONG time ago and is by far my best work. Everyone that starts out isn't gona just say *POOF* and be a magical welded, esp TIG.
Now i can honestly say that i am ALOT better, laying down awesome beads with ease. and have alot more quality work going out of the shop.
Its funny how this dude keeps comming back to honda-tech after being banned 3 times, yes 3 times. how is that, lol. get a life man.
Anyway the website will be updated soon with new close up pics to show quality.
and we can also beat anyones price by 5%

Easy, putting heat into a portion of metal causes it to expand at a different rate than the surrounding. In short, when you weld something, it warps. MIG puts a more generalized form of heat in than TIG so it's easier to warp something with MIG by overheating it. TIG has a very small localized heat region so it's easier to maintain, say, a flat flange when it's TIG'd.
It's very common for mig'd manifolds to be warped. And shops really don't like trying to flatten the flanges either, it's a PITA.
Personally I'd just cut the flange between the runners and get a little more play in the flange as well as allowing for heat expansion rather than trying to machine it flat.
I've been too busy doing swapping the past little while to mount my log mani, that's why I haven't commented on fit yet

Jason makes quality products. Of course his manifolds now are going to be better because with welding, you just get better as time goes on. I've seen jasons work lately and its looking good. I know jason personally, even before he did manifolds, and hes a stand up guy.

Jason is a great guy. He did my IC piping, manifold and 3'' DP for my H22 Integra. Everything was pretty tight fitting so it took much longer to fab everything, like a full day longer because my car is a bitch, but he still only charged me the quoted price. His quality of work is very good and he will make sure everything is exactly how you want it. All I have to say about him are good things. Mainly, there aren't too many companies out there that treat their customers as well as he does.
nilsift, you are a ***. I understand that you had a bad experience ALONG TIME AGO and you should have the right to state your opinion, but Jason did everything to make that situation better for you. You need to just let it go. Plus, welding is like anything that requires skill, one gets better over time. And trust me, he has no problems laying a clean bead.
On a side note, the log manifold he made me is damn nice. I will post pictures as soon as I pick-up my stuff from him today. No body should have any worries going through CRP Turbo or dealing with Jason, he is a stand-up guy.
