Hi, i am in the process of building my block. I am using a b16 head and gsr shortblock.

i am getting ready to buy some pistons 9:5:1.

what would my compression be?

Depends are they 9.5:1 for a B16A or 9.5:1 for a GSR, if you bought B16A 9.5:1 and used the GSR block then Compression will be 10.5:1, if you use 9.5:1 CR that was for a GSR then it will be about 9.3:1, GSR block with B16A head stock with head cc of 42.7ccs. HTH
