Default Competition twin ??

I'm using a Competition twin disk clutch with a pedal stop. The question is I am having trouble with it not wanting to go into first gear without hitting second first. The more I adjust the stop out it seems to get get somewhat better. But I don't want to go too far and break the clutch. I had the new tranny apart to install the LSD and checked the whole setup out. Because I bought the tranny for $20 it was said to leak oil and not move when in gear. Now my last trans did this with the Competition and ate first gear syncro. Anybody know what might be causing this?

What car and tranny is it in. Have you also adjusted the rod on the master cyl? I have the cc twin in my car and have no problems out of it.

99EK with a GSR also did it with the LS. No I have not adjusted the freeplay. Left alone from the Exedy twin. Do you think it needs less freeplay? Thanks

He is not asking about the free play adjustment he is asking if you adjusted the stroke of the master cylinder.

Thanks Terry will do. Adjusting the stroke didn't change anything. Just had to reset pedal stop and lost freeplay.
