I just put in my Action 1MD. Which is a heavy duty PP and 6 puck unsprung disc. I have about 30miles on it ince the install. Ive read all the archived posts on it. Most people say that puck clutches chatter... Is this correct? Also is there a break in period for a puck clutch, ive heard mixed things on this. thanks. Yes I had the flywheel resurfaced.

 

I have similar problem, Im running the action 2MD with clutchmaster flywheel I've put about 3000km on it and I still get some chatter what gives?

 

If it is unsprung there is nothing to absorb the vibration that sprung clutches have...I put about 5k miles on my ACT 6 puck and it didn't chatter as much once I mastered how to drive it..but still chattered nonetheless.

 

check the flyweel see if is burn

 

ive got CM stage 4 w/ flywheel and it never chatters for me

 

Best thing I have found to help mine is load the clutch when you launch and get the revs up a little when pulling out.

 

rpm's is the key.... keep them up and it will help alot...
