Default Car won't start. HELP!

Last night, my car ran fine. Today, I didn't drive it at all. I changed the oil today, and tried starting it, but it doesn't start. It cranks, but, won't start. It's also throwing a check engine light. I thought that the car won't throw a check engine light when you're running the EMS standalone?

Checked the spark plugs, tips are white. Is there any trouble shooting that can be done to find the problem?

Does it have spark? What code does it have stored?

I haven't checked to see if it has spark, but I did pull the cap and rotor off, and when I removed the rotor, the screw that holds it on, just popped out, as if it were not even holding the rotor in. Could have possibly prevent it from starting?

Yes, if it lets the rotor spin on the shaft.

I just bought a new rotor, and still doesn't start. The NGK plugs are still fairly new, but my plug wires could definetly use a change though.

Just had a shop check my coil, which they say is still good. I just checked for spark, and there is none. Would this lead towards the ignitor being the problem?

I bought a new ignitor, and it still doesn't start. And there still is no spark. How do I know what the code is? The check engine light just comes on and stays on while I'm cranking the motor.

Will those codes work even though I'm using the AEM EMS standalone ECU?

Okay, I crossed the blue clip with a paperclip just as C-Speedracing said, and the light just comes on and stays on. It doesn't flash at all.
