car warms up then cools down.. normal??
well heres the deal.. my car has a huge fmic blocking my radiator.. the last time that happenend my car overheated alot... well with this car, it goes to normal temps on the gauge.. after like 10 mins of constant driving the cars temp gauge shows cold.. im talking cold like before u start it up cold.. i pop the hood and the motor is normal temp hot.. also the heat fluctuates up and down also when this happens... it'll be hot then be blowing out cold air.. is it just the big fmic workin its magic or is there something wrong?
run the car with the cap off till the engine warms up. and see if you have bubbles.
please dont open the cap with the car already warmed up.

how do u bleed the system? just run the car with the cap off till it warms up? or leave the cap on and use the lil bleeder valves on the motor? with the bleeders u just open them up and turn the car on untill fluid comes out? then pour in to fill right?

also forgot to add this started happening after i replaced my half sized broken radiator for my full length.. also.. i ran the car with the cap off and it bubbled just a tad bit.. it raised to the top like 2 minutes later.. wasn't warmed up or anything yet... did i do that right? im coming to a conclusion saying that my thermo is stuck.. i'll get that fixed first.. any other suggestions?
My B16 CRX was doing the same thing, I replaced the thermostat (which had never been replaced before) and it corrected the problem. This also required that I bleed the coolant, so I would try bleeding the coolant system before I did the thermostat.
