Default a/c compatible manifolds?

are there any cons to a/c compatible manifolds? i live in texas where it is hotter than hells waiting room in the summer and i would like to keep my a/c as i boost. so i'm looking to find an a/c compatible manifold. does anybody know where i can find one?

also the charge pipes have to be run under the a/c compressor correct?

car is a 94 ej1 with d15b swap and i am removing ps

most of the honda tech sponsors who make manifolds, can more than likely help you out. i know of a few that can make ac and ps compatible manifolds.

ill be looking for a ac and ps compatible manifold as well when it comes time for me to turbo my vehicle.

check in the sponsors marketplace for some vendors making manifolds downpipes and stuff like that...

I dont know whether or not they effect performance or not, but one big drawback to the AC manifolds is that install can be a pain. There is just soooo much stuff crammed into a small space.

My first setup had AC and PS...my second had neither although now i could put PS back in. It is so much easier to work when you have a half core radiator, slimline fan and no AC condensor. Not to mention everything cools better since airflow isn't as restricted

getting a manifold and bolting it on is the easy part. Getting your ac to work once its all done...pain in the ***! Thats what im batteling here right now. Underhood temps to high so even though ac blows cold, the compressor is running at such high pressure car wont move. Bogs down the motor way to much. come to a stop light after its good and hot, try and go and it moves at about 5 mph for about 20 seconds so i have to turn ac off until get up to speed. While you have it out heat wrap EVERYTHING!!!! Downpipe, dumptube, manifold, ac lines, and get good good fans! Thats all i can suggest im getting ready to wrap somemore stuff to so ill let you know. I just have downpipe, dumptube right now wrapped. Getting ready to get turbo blanket, and wrap the manifold, and wrap the ac lines.
