Default Building my block

I'm looking to have my B16 fully built. Sleeved block, pistons, rods, ARP's etc. I would like some input on what parts to go with and also somewhere to have this work done. I have some local places in mind. Just looking for input from people on here. I'm looking for around 400whp and already have the turbo kit to support it. I've already e-mailed Vince at GE but haven't gotten a reply. It's very hard for me to find time during the day to make phone calls so email is key for me. Anyway any info that anyone can supply would be very helpful and much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hey, I can get you some Arias pistons, manley rods, and can get you hooked up with RS machines. Email or IM me. I'm from MN also.

Do you go to MSU? I'm gonna be attending school there next fall. Any cool places down there?

Dude another MN Si owner.

Are you asking what specs should the motor be? Or what parts to use?

What parts to use and where to get it done. Not to key on doing it myself. If there was someone to do it and I could help or watch then I would probably be comfortable doing it after that.

ImportBuilders.com, you want it sleeved and built by pro's they are your place.
b16 bored to 1.8 sleeved, pistons, rods, balanced, p&p crank, new seals, everything 3,100 shipped. They do awesome work.

If you a new to motors and building a boosted motor i'd go with 9:1 compression. If you know what your doing and you can tune or know a local shop that can tune. I'd go with a higher compression 9.5:1 or 10:1, that will give you more usable power while your waiting for your big *** turbo to spool je or wiseco pistons, crower or eagle rods, aebs or darton sleeves, good luck in your quest
