Default BOV Decision

I'm just wondering what a nice, modest sounding blow off valve is. I dont want an airhorn under my hood, something nice and quite with a nice sound. Any recomendations?

1G DSM. I have it on my car and it's quiet when you are driving normally and it gets louder when you get on it hard. It's not super loud like the other bov's and the sound is perfect.

The type-RS is meant to be more subtile than the type-s. The type-S has the whistle-like sound I love, along with so many others that hear my car blowoff. I also love the SSQ

FYI, very few mfg's use the same flanges for BOVs. Greddy, RFL, Tial, HKS SSQ, Blitz, etc are all different.

for sound i think the greddy type s takes the prize. for higher boost apps most ppl use tials or hks from what i see. If you change the insert on the HKS... it sounds pretty good. Ill make a clip of it sometime.

They are all good in their own way. Just your own pref

good luck
