how do the type-s cams work in the k24 considering the exhaust cam has a vtec lobe and the a1's, similar to k20a3's, dont?

really impressive on the basic setup and that power band. I guess when my wifes CD5 F22B2 gives up (only 160K now ) maybe I'll see if I can throw in a K and 'experiment'.

I modified the type s cams to work with my set up.

So far the car runs good. Im going to pull the motor and do a clutch and a type S oil pump.

I also have some timing chain noise, so ill have to figure out what it is. I think its the stock k24 oil pump balancer shaft that is making noise. Ill see when I pull it out.

Ill keep you guys updated. Im going to sell my rsx-s so ill drive my ek more often soon.

Its not common to see a Honda spool the turbo that fast...and its a GT35 at that! Its hard not to want to ride the k-series bandwagon Only thing I'd change is the lip and cannards, but to each his own.

Totally agree, that 2.4 liter makes plenty of Tq. Has me thinking………….

Very Nice. What happen to the all motor setup? did you get rid of the 3 piece front end?

edit: nevermind this thread was posted back in 07. car now has a all motor setup with 3 piece front end
