Default Boosted D finally complete Next stop--Dyno

Finally! After several mishaps and mayhem, my D is headed to the Dyno. This is my first build, so fingers are crossed.
Quick setup list:
1996 Civic Ex coupe
d16y8
SRP 9:1 pistons 75mm
ARP head studs
port and polished head
OEM head gasket
Micropolished and balanced crankshaft
t3/t04e .50a/r(hotside) .48a/r(coldside)
Revhard Drag mani.
Tial wastegate
Custom 2.5 DP
Custom 2.5 exhaust w/ testpipe
XS RFL BOV (<--crap--changing to Tial soon)
255 lph walbro fuel pump
550cc injectors
Hondata s200b

This car was supercharged for a while, but when I maxed it out at 170whp, I thought that this wasnt enough. I picked up this turbo kit from a friend of mine, and had the turbo rebuilt TWICE to work with my car. The .63a/r on the exhaust was a little to big for the lower compression. Plus the mani had kept cracking, so I got the Revhard. The turbo was taking too long to boost up and I was only gettin 12-13 psi at redline. But, so far so good with new .48a/r setup. I am heading to north Atlanta to Balanced Perfomance to get tuned. I am taking about 4 gallons of 114 oct. to see what I can put down at about 17-18 psi--maybe higher Any guesses on what I should put down??? Since this is my first build I have no idea. I am hoping for the 275-300 range.

Do you think 300whp is possible?

Are the SRP pistons you have noisy at all?

At start-up for a couple minutes, but when it warms up they sound fine.

i dont see why not. i'm making 273 on a stock motor at 12.5-13psi on a 48/60 50trim t3/to4e.

definitely let us know how it turns out.

I'll let everyone know tomorrow how it does. I want to try to keep the boost low if I can make decent power, but 15-18 psi will probably be the range. I'll let my tuner decide when enuff znuff.

Well, got to the dyno today. Had some problems with the boost controller and because the stock cam, intake mani, and that the compression was lowered I was limited. But all in all I was happy. 244 whp and 200ftq between 5500 and 6000.

Pretty good numbers! The biggest thing limiting the power of the D's is the head. They just don't flow.

thats achieveable, im building up my second d16 right now to get 350, stock d16 sleevs can handle up to 500, you should be getting at least 300 with that setup good luck did you put new rods in?
