Default Blow-Off Valve Install

where do you plug the hose for the BOV? Links or pictures would help. Ive searched and cannot find a definite answer. I have a Greddy type S with SOHC Greddy kit on my 97 Civic.

your asking where do you make the hole in the charge pipe for the BOV? Do you have a blow off flange, cause the piping is alum and the BOV is steel and you cannot weld those metals, hence that's why you need the flange.

As far as location most people do it before the Throttle body, tho as close as possible. Since you have a civic, most people go with the BOV mounted right by the distributor cap.

As for as a VAC line, for the Type S BOV, its the top straight line, not the slanted one. Have a dedicated VAC line, make sure its not teeded from any other source.

I'll try and get some pics if this is what you mean.

hes asking about the vacuum line, not the flange. by the way just so you know, the piping for the SOHC kit IS steel, so you need the steel flange. but anyways just tee the vacuum line to any vacuum source on the intake mani, i used the brake booster for instance. good luck
