im going to boost my b16 (or maybe a b18b) and i was wondering what turbos every1 uses? i will be putting in a crx. i can get a 14b really cheap, and i only want to run 7-8 psi.

im using a garrett t3/t04e 57 trim 63 a/r comp 60 a/r turb., will spool up around 3-3.5k

What kind of power goals do you want?

If you want 300hp, get a t3/t4 that's "best" for your application .. if you want 500+ hp, get something like an SC61 which is "best" for that application.

 

im looking to boost the stock motor at around 7-8 psi, probly like 215 hp? would a t3e 2 small? ill probly end up going with a t3/t4, but im tryin to keep it low cost.

 

I have a b16 w/ ctr cams I put down 216 hp at 7psi with t3/t4 with a 48 exh/60 compressor turbo.
I am happy with the results.

is that at the wheels?

 

yes at the wheels on mustang dyno (payn) in Troy MI.

 

thats about what im lookin for.... should be a little quicker in my crx
