you need to do ALOT of research......there are guys that can blow stuff up at 180whp and guys that can run 600+ safe.

pick your realistic power goal and someone MIGHT be able to help you.

first off, don't use b16a cams (if you still have them)

I am pretty sure that I have after market cams in the head because they are powder coated black aren't the stock ones just aluminum

so what are you gonna get it tuned with/who is going to do it? dont sleep on how important the tune is.

i feel anything in the 9:1 range will do you fine

well i dunno about the cams, im pretty sure mine are black, but as stated before if ud get some gsr cams or ctr cams, it would help!

I am not sure yet but I definitely plan on getting it professionally tuned
But how many pounds of boost should I be pushing on boost 9:1
Compression on a stock b16a block?

don't worry about that so much. just get the car tuned. the number of psi of boost will come on day of tune. It depends upon the T3/T4 you have.

most likely a 57 trim you mean? i think 550cc injectors, healthy motor, and a good tune, you should make close, if not, 350whp. But Tune is a BIG deal when it comes to boosting. Choose your tuner wisely and talk to him ahead of time and ask him what he recommends and see what program he feels comfortable tuning with is your best bet.

Im in the process of boosting my stock gsr, here are are my specs if theyre any help.

Turbonetics t62-1 ball-bearing turbo
Cheap XS Power engineering Manifold
Turbonetics Evolution 38mm Wastegate
3in Downpipe with an electronic cutout after
2.5 piping from turbo to IC and IC to Throttle body
Greddy BOV
DSM Evo injectors which are 550cc
Walbro 225 fuel pump
AEM Fuel Rail
ARP headstuds
Dual ValveSprings and Retainers
PLanning to tune with Crome

Id say if you wanted to keep the motor stock internally, get headstuds, replace the headgasket while youre at it (Pros still just use OEM gaskets on their builds), and you should be fine to boost.

But I cant stress how important a good tune is!

Thanks the info is very much appreciated the only thing that is really
Stock is the block but I'm probably going to get it sleeved just so it can be fresh I'm still not sure on what pistons would be best any ideas?
