my shop charged me $145 to balance the entire rotating assembly. i used eagle rods, wiseco pistons, stock crank. some people will tell you that balancing is not needed on an inline engine, but i figured for $145, why not?

Yes... OEM cranks are usually quite close... and its not multiple hours of labor to do....

I got my whole rotating assembly done for $175

that included crank, rods, pistons, clutch, and flywheel. I would have balanced the crank pulley too but I'm already running an aftermarket damper
