balancing crankshaft
how much do machine shops charge to balance your crankshaft?if im using manley rods and cp pistons theres no need to balance them because they come out the factory balanced perfectly correct?
my shop charged me $145 to balance the entire rotating assembly. i used eagle rods, wiseco pistons, stock crank. some people will tell you that balancing is not needed on an inline engine, but i figured for $145, why not?

Yes... OEM cranks are usually quite close... and its not multiple hours of labor to do....

I got my whole rotating assembly done for $175
that included crank, rods, pistons, clutch, and flywheel. I would have balanced the crank pulley too but I'm already running an aftermarket damper
