b-series crank trigger?
is anyone running a crank trigger on their b-series. im planning on running hondata s300b, aftermarket ignition system,..., all that stuff. anyways. vtec runs off the distributor, cams, all that up top, yeah. so from what i get outta this, is i would have to run coil packs, and then run a crank trigger on the bottom end. now what about vtec?
does everyone agree a crank trigger is a more accurate way to tune the engine?
what has to be done to run a crank trigger on a b-series engine?

this doesnt show you the crank trigger set up....but it shows you how it looks when the distributor is removed and the coils that i use in place of the distributor. more or less i just made a bracket to mount the coils right where the distributor used to be, and then had custom spark plug wires made.

I thought with a set-up like that you had to run a true standalone. I didn't think that the honda ecu would support it. But maybe the new S300 has the ability to control the COP system, I don't know. Could someone please clearify this for me!
