Default AWIC???

So Im a noob to the turbo scene, what exactly is a AWIC, what are pros and cons? better than an fmic? and What does AWIC stand for???Thanks you guys and sorry for stupid questions

I believe it stands for "air to water intercooler"

An air to water intercooler uses a radiator to cool water, and then the air goes through another heat exchanger(with the cooled water) into the motor. I would say that a disadvantage of it would be the weight of the water(if you are concerned about weight). An air to air intercooler should be fine for whatever you are doing.
