one question, if my car is tuned on setting [A] will my tuning go out of wack if I only input my gears on setting [B]

thanks, and great post, something I have been looking for in a while.

Sorry for the delay. To be honest I have never tried to do it in the other setting. I would imagine that you can put your settings {A} and {B} and then do your % differences for each. I will try it when I get my car back on the road in a week or two.

Now were talking tech! Thanks Jason, I'm sure this will help tons of doubtful's who are ready to throw their AVC-R against a wall. Added to favorites for future reference.

ITs not that hard, just poorly worded in the instructions. Glad I could help out.

Myself and a buddy of mine experienced with the Boost by Gear Option on my car before running at Baytown. I have to say that it does work extremly well, but the only thing is that we did it a different way as far as figuring out the gears. We went out on a side road to the track and got the car in first gear, up to 5000rpms. We had the AVCR under Gear Judge, and once I had the car at 5000rpms we wrote down the number that appears on the right. We kept the car at the same speed, and shifted it into 2nd. Wrote down the numbers. Maintained same speed, shifted into 3rd, wrote down the numbers, and did the same for 4th/5th gear. After doing that we went back in and inputed the numbers. Then from there we adjusted the duty cycles and got the car to where I wanted it.

Blown90Hatch...have you ever heard of it being done this way?

That's how I did it bulldogg and blown90 agreed that was an acceptable way also. That's located somewhere on the first page about halfway down.

Yes, that is how it is meant to do the learn function. For some people with out any options for this method, inputing the calculated gear values in and then fine tuning it at the track is another method. Good job to both of you guys for getting it to work.
