NOOOOOOO!!! anytime you use a ls, b20, or gsr block you MUST use gsr head studs.. the b16a are too short.

WRONG, it depends on the BLOCK you are using. different deck hight = different studs.

ls headstuds wont work, because the 2 center studs are longer than the others.

the correct headstud to use on an LS/vtec or b20 vtec is a GSR headstud. the b16 ones are too short, and you will pull the threads out of your block with them.

Use GSR headstuds.

ONLY reason why ls studs don't work is because the center two are too long, so if you can find two gsr headstuds or two "short" ls studs to replace the longer ones, it works perfect.

I found someone selling individual gsr headstuds for $10, so I bought two, and used them in my ls/vtec setup.

Try searching around H-T, I don't know of anyone off hand, the guy I bought mine from probably sold all of his.
