I'm running one on my 94 civic but I would imagine that honda didn't change much on their ignition switch wiring.

You'll need a volt meter to find the three wires the timer wants to tap into. Just gain access to the ignition wires coming out of the switch and start testing them with the key in the different positions.

It's pretty easy really. Also, if you are using the A/F meter which actually works pretty well you'll need to tap into the ecu's ground and O2 wire. It's best to use a manual of some sort to find those wires.

Do you already have the timer? The instructions point the way pretty well. If you don't have the instructions you can down load them from apex's web site.

Ok, so here is an update... I installed the timer, looks great and its working well.. accept for the fact that it really isnt giving me much of an A/F reading... when i set the timer to the O2 voltage reading it flashes between 960 and 10.0... and if i set it to A/F it sits at 20.0 (flashing)... Am I missing something? does all this have to be set, or should i check the connection to the O2 sensor? I remember hearing something about it having to be set up once its installed.. any info you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated...

Update: Problem solved.. i had a faulty connection on the o2 sensor wire... its working great now...

i don't think u set up the timer correctly

or it is possible that your a/f ratio is out of ranged cause eithe ryour o2 sensor is malfunctioning or it is detecing a very very lean condition
