Default Anyone running eagle/endyn rods

Is anyone here running the eagle rods. Are these any good. Any bad stories just contimplating the buy and these look (eagle at 355) quite nice compared to the 700 crowers. I am sure they probably can not take the amount of power, but I will not be running over 8-12 psi. Not asking which I should run, but opinions on eagle rods.
Thanks.

they work very well. Excellent when mated to the RW from endyn.

Glad someone asked this. I was all set to but the eagle/RW combination when several people started saying to me that that's the last place I should skimp and I should purchase quality like Crower/JE etc.

I plan on running approx 18+psi, so add'l experiences with people running big boost with these components would be helpful.

uh
endyn is known
eagle is known

i'd much rather spend $325 on quality H-beam rods then overpriced $680 crower i-beam rods.....

not to mention endyn pistons work great in every application i've seen them in. get a clue before posting, thanks.

As long as you dont get the accompanying black hooded robe, candle, and poster of Larry with the rods, you should be fine. EV.

how much boost would you say the endyn/eagle rod would handle??? I want to run 12-15psi someday, would the eagle rod be okay, I really don't want to send $300 extra for the crower. I think there is better that $300 could go to, like Hondata maybee.

You're worrying too much. The eagle rod should EASILY be able to do the job. If stock rods can easily take 300+ whp, there's nothing to worry about. Just get the eagle rods and save yourself some money. Now if you're looking to push some serious hp, I'd probably get the crowers. Crowers are strong, but for most people they're probably overkill.

in the past few months, Sport compact described H beam rods (EAGLE) one of the strongest made rods. OF course you have I beam, X beam etc

I am runnin the eagle rods, they do the job, i agree with what they are saying, stop worrying and Just get the rods

I have eagle rods.

pros: cheap, strong, did I say cheap?

cons: my rod ends didn't fit. The small end didn't fit the piston pin and the big end didn't fit the crankshaft. I had to have a machine shop cusomize them. THey were the right ones too.

Other than that, I love them. The price is right and mated with je pistons, I can probably go up to 24psi on the stock sleeves, but choose not to.
