My HKS SSQV blow off valve suddenly just stopped working. I have this on my WRX and for some reason I don't hear it blowing off, even under load. Before it used to be loud as hell, I tried adjusting the screw on the back of it, and still nothing. Has anyone ever had this problem before?

 

Mine started sounding different several months after putting it in. Took the thing apart and it seemed the screws and washers were extremely loose. Tightened everything up but it still sounds not as good as it used to. I guess we're the few people who had bad luck with it.

 

ive heard that the bov gets stuck but i dont have any experience with it though. i know a bunch of people that have em without problems...

 

i just put one on a wrx. it stuck closed after about 1/2 hour of driving.

 

Did u check to see if you have a vacuum leak connected to the bov?
