So I'll be leaving for Indy tomorrow to attend PRI this year and was just wondering if any other people from HT were going/

i'm staying at the westin across from the convention center, which is perfect because i don't own any cold weather clothes.... yay skybridge lol

 

I'm registered, but can't go due to a last minute change of some things. It would have been nice, too.

I'm jealous...i was looking at some of Tony Palo's (Tony1) Facebook pictures of the Injector Dynamics booth he was helping to set up. They had a whole line up of fuel pumps and injectors...not sure if anything is ground-breaking, but they did have an Indy car on hand. Take some pics and post 'em up

 

what is PRI?

 

Its a trade show where everyone who is associated with performance racing industry comes together from around the globe. There are different layers of exhibitors from multi million dollar enterprise type to brands that knock everything out in China. To get in you have to be associated somehow with the aftermarket trade or know someone who knows someone in order to get in. Many important meetings for the future of several after market bloodlines take place outside the show where if you are a good customer for say xxx company they take ypu out to dinner and pick up the $900 steak house bill etc.. Later during the new year you need a $10000 part , you are going to call the same guy who took you out to dinner that night. Lol

Correct.. but more about "GO" and less about "SHOW".. I kinda liked SEMA a little better because I can change environments if I want, Plus, since the whole convention has sooo many hard-legs, its nice to see some females on the cars that walk and talk with you.. PRI.. All "GO" and Egos.. Not enough women to peek at to break the monotony

yea its a sausage fest for sure. lots of amazing shot to look at though.

Indy is cold as *****. only got up to 15f today and there's supposed to be a blizzard the day I fly out.
