Anybody re-use ARP headstuds?
Just wondering if anybody has reused their ARP headstuds before? Mine had all of about 1500 miles before the valve dropped, of those 1500 miles less than half were boosted.. Now I know B-series aren't prone to the kind of head/block distorting D-series are and ARP's are labled 'no stretch' but has anybody actually done this?
yes i have done it many times no issues that i ever had always replaced the head gasket ofcourse and made sure the threads in the block were okay

Yea the headgasket is a given, actually the whole motor is being redone but I just wanted to make sure the ARP's are ok

I've probably reused mine about 7-8 times already. Still holding fine. Just make sure they are in the block properly and torque them correctly.
