Default Anybody Ever run one fo these.....

I got a 01 R. Doing some general research for a boost setup on my c5. Looking to make higher numbers on the ground 400 - 500+ depending on fuel octane being used. CFT's integra used this sleeve setup and made 501whp at 25psi.

My question is has anybody ever used one of these sleeves? Would it be worth it to spend the extra money on these sleeves? Feedback and Opinions are welcome. Thanks

Am I missing what type of sleeve your talking about, because I don't see any brands in your post?

500hp @ 25psi is pretty weak. there are people making over 150hp more @ the same boost number.

So? All depends on what he is using.

This place makes me sick sometimes, if you aren't making 800whp+ then nobody gives you any respect.

OP askes a simple question, and he gets badmouthed..lol classic.

AEBS sleeves have been very good for years. Back a few years ago we used only AEBS or Golden Eagle. I like how they're manufacturing process makes it so that they do not MARKET the sleeves to other installers to contain quality control. They are a tad bit more expensive than Golden Eagle depending upon the package, but you can't go wrong w/ the AEBS

i think what dave is saying unless thats on a very small turbo, 500whp at 25 psi seems low. not hating that it is only 500, but at that boost level it seems off.

Good to know that some members of the FI community have had good success with these sleeves.

I noticed that the website states that they match the cooling ports to the factory head gasket. With that being said and the feedback I'm getting from this forum, I would hate to assume that people arn't having cooling issues with this sleeve. So I'll ask anyway.......Have people experienced cooling problems with these sleeves and will I need to upgrade more than my rad and fans?

Thanks in advance

Not to sound like an arrogant ***, but I would have posted any problems with the AEBS systems if there were any..
