ok i just want to catch all that damn oil spewing in my engine bay so can i keep the stock pvc system intact and just hook the valve cover vent to a open atmosphere catch can.. i just want to catch all that nasty oil.. if its open to atmosphere it should evacuate just as good as leaving it alone with it hooked to nothing right ..? im not looking for a gain just a clean up .. i would run it right but my turbo is too close for an intake pipe i have the oil mesh filter turbo setup going on... any ideas

 

I've run with valve cover vent in catch can and pcv valve removed.I replaced the pcv valve with a hose.The pcv valve must be removed or gutted because it closes under boost.

 

i just want to keep it all stock but i want to catch all the oil from my valve cover.. while in boost.. instead of putting a filter on it ... will it work
