i recently bought a boosted 2000si. i have been unable to speak with the actual owner of the car becuase i bought it threw a wholesaler. the set-up is a b16a2 with drag gen 3 kit cometic headgasket aebs headstuds, gsr cams, str gears........) anyway when i bought the car the wholesaler was a nice guy trying to let me know everyhting he knew. when we were driving home the temp guage kept esclating but he claimed that since the radiator was not stock and had a fan that stayed on at all times it wasnt an accurate read. as you drive for a long the guage keeps increasing. is my car really overheating or is there possibility the gauge is disfuntional.****buying a water temp guage tonight

what should i do? new thermostat? new radiator? help anyone i dont wanna see my new whip go kaboom

 

how hot is it getting thats the main question..... my boosted car runs around 190 or so while driving

 

it probably has a blown head gasket. why do you think the previous owner sold it?

 

Umm...yea that guy sounds like he is full of ****. A headgasket is an easy fix though
