i got qouted a price today. i'm just gonna drop off my car and the this is the total price so when i pick it up am am ready to up the boost to about 15-18psi. if i don't sell my car.

total cost for:
-remove motor
-send off block to get it sleeved by GE
-cp pistons 9:, bored to 89mm
-eagle rods
-new water and oil pump
-manual tensioner conversion
-all necessary gaskets and seals

they qouted the price to be around 5k. is this too expensive?

For a shop price - pretty standard I would say.

Do the work yourself and cut the cost in half.
