Adding boost option to hondata s200
I am lookin into purchasing a Hondata s200 system for my turbo hatch and had a quick question... i was going to buy a used system from a friend but he had it installed on a all motor h22 and said he doesnt know for sure if it has the boost option.. is there anyway to check? and if it doesnt how would i go about getting it and how much?? hondatas website says $200 for boost option!! help me out guys
It should say s200b on the blue box I believe (b for boost)... s200bd means it has datalogging also. That box does nothing though, it's just a security device. Hondata is just software.
I would check into uberdata/crome before buying the outdated s200 because it's pretty much the same thing. The exception is uberdata/crome are free.

All s200 systems only say s200. You have to download the hondalogger software off thier website. Then go to ECU, ECU information, It will tell you what options are enabled. connect laptop to blue box through serial cable and see what options it has.
to upgrade, call a vendor, wiredspeed.com or something and pay for the upgrade, they will ask for the serial number and then you type in the code they give you and it unlocks the option.

Hmm maybe I am thinking of the older stage 2/3/4 systems? I remembr my old one having a "b" on the end. Oh well I don't like hondata anyways.

Don't be a cheap ***, just buy it.
Open up Hondalogger and see if the boost option is "turned on".
