XTSS or HDSS which one... whats the petal difference between the 2
if nothing then i would just get XTSS

act's webpage says the XTSS can hold a bit more torque than the HDSS. and the extreme pressure plate probably feels a little stiffer than the heavy duty PP.
edit -- looked at the act page again, and they say it'll hold a lot more torque than the HDSS w/ a 95% pressure increase compared to the HDSS' 41%.

I've installed both the HD and XT pressure plate. The extreme grabs harder but the pedal is pretty stiff. I personally like a stiff clutch pedal and you'll get used to it, IMO.

damnit is there a way to descibe how stiff.. i know u have a civic and my lude is harder than civics stock... i bet mine will be hella hard.
The HD feels like stock to me, the XT is about 50% more effort than the HD.....either one will be fine, the pedal pressure isn't a big deal as long as you are using a disc, if it were a puck then it'd be a huge PITA....
You'll like either one, but my opinion is get the HD and enjoy the driving more (especially if it's your daily driver and/or other peeps like a GF drive it)....besides, when you do a built motor to make the power that the XT can hold, you'll want to swap out your clutch again anyways......that's what I'm planning

i had the xtss on my itr and the pedal did not feel any stiffer than stock,it just engaged quicker.by the way,it started slipping once i got over 300 lbs ft and about 2 years of abuse.i think it is a very good clutch and it is the one i would use in your case.
