That's it? I could do that at the shop. It will just tale time and patience.

Now i don't know which motor i should build lol

sweet build too im am subscribing.

also how much boost do you plan on running? or blower rpm?

also why do you want lower compression?
Thanks, how I did the ccw on the charger I just pulled the rotor pack and snout off put it on the cnc and made the 2 top and bottom holes a touch bigger side to side. Was also ported and hoping to run 15 to 18 psi on a 2.25 inch pulley this should put me roughly at 16500 rpm at redline ( if my math is correct ).Max recommend rpm on rotors is 18k

As for the compression with the vitaras and the P2P0 rods my compression I am only down 8:5:1. My head was decked so that should bring it close to the stock compression ratio

A company makes a phenolic intercooler kit that bolts to the outlet of the m62 but they aren't really cheap.
The way I had converted it was pulled the rotor pack out and snout off, left everything together cuz I had a hard time putting my other supercharger back together. I like helical superchargers but they are a pain in the *** some times with the clearances between the rotors. But when I put the charger housing on the cnc I also did the rotor pack and snout. The housing the and rotor plate/snout are nearly symmetrical so I just made the bolt hose slightly oblong and just flipped the rotor pack 180° same with the snout and it all fit perfect. As for cooling I am running a snow performance water meth inject kit off my cummins. Should be a nice little touch. Hopefully the car can keep up with the truck haha.

This is all for an Eaton m62 off of a 93 Pontiac Bonneville ssei, not sure if any others are the same like the Mercedes kompressor or similar.

you oblonged the backplate or the snout mounting holes? Id be worried about it shifting if that's the case. The way the person on pg 1 said is so much easier. Heres just a little finesse in getting the rotors back in, i find it helps to mark how they were meshed in the housing and try to twist them back in.

A few of the eaton m90's.. Mostly those off of ford thunderbirds and the m112 off of the cobra are similar to the Mercedes eaton... Rear rectangular/rounded inlet and a central discharge off the bottom of the blower that's a nice square flange on the m90 and a full size discharge on the m112. The nice part about the m112 is it had a bolt on intercooler on the cobra so you can modify for 4cylinder use

It shouldn't shift there are 2 pins that hold the backing plate and the case in the correct spot and I only machined 4 of the 8 bolt holes so the other 4 I did not move

speaking of that oval inlet on the superchargers has anyone used a ford throttle body directly on the supercharger? and bypass the restrictive s tube? the 07-10 mustang has a nice oval tb

and does any supercharger m62 or newer rotate CCW from factory? i was looking into tvs 1320 cobalt guys use alot. but it seems like i would have to make it ccw and fabricate it to fit.

we need more aftermarket support for superchargers in the honda world. i wish i could bolt on a tvs in factory spot like cobalt guys can

A few Eaton m62s rotate ccw but I don't remember which ones. I think it may be for the couger xr7 and the tbird supercoupe. Is Jackson racing still in business? If so dose anyone know why they stopped production of D series superchargers?

I was originally using a m90 for my build until I couldn't reverse the rotation due to extensive modifications to the charger. Or running it backwards and using a jackshaft. By running is backwards I mean putting the pulley side on the opposite side of the engine, not like some of these guys I see running its backwards threw the charger making the intake the pressure side. I want to run 18 psi supercharged because the power is instant and there is no lag. But if I'm not satisfied I have a 71mm HTT stainless turbo off of my cummins just laying around I may Fab something up for that !

did the t brid and cougars have m62s and m90s? i thought they only had the m90.

i would stick with the supercharger and maybe throw nos in if you want more power.

i have same problem finding a better ccw supercharger for my setup. i wish tvs1320 would just bolt on.

I would run nitrous if i had forged pistons, I was going go buy Cp forged pistons and manley rods but I cut my build cost in half using the vitaras and P2P0 rods

Thanks! First build for a Honda but not first build ever. My dad and I put a 383 SBC together when i was 14 and shoved it in an 85 S10. Lol thats what got me started and been doing SBC ever since. This is my first OHC motor I have completely ripped apparat and redone.

i would consider water/meth kit then. you can put one together cheap at your local hardware store in plumbing section. to help squeeze all the power you can out of it. water/meth raises the octane and cools the IATs. so its like a liquid intercooler. jackson racing offered it too. you can get better mpg if you set it up right.

when i had my d series jrsc kit i wanted to build up a sohc d16a6 high compression, vtec head and water injection. but i bought a b18c supercharged instead. i always wanted to see a m62 sohc tho. thanks for posting this

I think I may have some of my old snow performance stuff from my truck to, I'll just have to look but I don't have a spray nozzle. But I put the motor together last night! I had a couple extra Honda parts laying around so I swapped them for a new head. A friend of mine traded me a ported and polished decked head for 2 stock heads and harness. So I should get more performance out of that! We will see in due time last thing I need to do is make the intake and I'm ready to rock

Does anyone know how to wire in EVO 9 injector clips? I am unsure if they are the same as the blue top DSMs all the clips have a white wire with a red stipe (i would assume those are negative) 2 of the clips have a red wire with a gold stripe, other 2 have a blue wire with a white stripe and blue with red stripe.

I'm thinking of reenlisting so I am selling the hatch. If anyone would be interested I'm located in Ohio. Sell for 3800 with both motors and every Honda part I have or trade for a CRV. PM me if interested thanks.

The rims look really different. I'm not a fan of weird rims stuff normally, but I like them.

W/o being able to properly time the rotors/gears, it's not a good idea. I'm trying a different method where you redrill the other gear and press in 3 new pins. You can get hardened dowel pins on ebay or mcmaster for cheap. The problem with this is the GM-spec CW snout gets flipped relative to the rotor plate and needs the 3 pry locations filled with devcon. One method I thought up was to bolt in a 1/16" SS plate with the correct holes so no filling is needed.

No filling is needed if you're just fixing a JRSC with the CCW snout like me.

Stock cam until I figure out if I am staying in the states or not. If I don't sell it I'll have to do some research to see what profile would fit my needs.

All I did was rebuilt it to stock specs and after the rotor pack was assembled the factory way I just put the pack in upside down. So I know it would be in time. I have spun it up to 1300 rpm with a lathe and it runs perfect.

Contact me when you're ready, i do custom cam profilling, not many d series shelf profiles are going to fit what you want.
