Default 450cc injectors

on a b18a we were trying to install a set of rc 450cc injectors but the rubber gromet deal that goes into the manifold side was too small. it fit in the manifold but the hole in the middle is to small for the injectors. which bushing/gaskets are you supposed to use for 450cc injectors? thanks

that is just how it is the RC's just set on top they do not go all the way in like stock do not try and make them bc you well have a vac leak and you will have some prob's just let them rest on top like that you will be fine

exactly. the grommet is there solely to seal on the injector. put the grommets in the intake manifold and put the injectors in the fuel rail and then place them on top and tighten the fuel rail. they should seal up real good. as long as the tip of the injector fits in the grommet and you get good seal your fine.

^^^what the last two said. i was confused by this too when i first tried to install my rc's but rc themselves told me that they are suppose to sit on top of the grommet like that.

so what i did was put the grommets in the IM, then mount the rail on the IM, center the injectors on the grommet, and then tighten down the bolts. they seal up nice and ive never had a leak.
