3 wire iacv
a while ago i put on a automatic y8 manifold on my 99 civic. (retaining a 3 wire iacv)
now im collecting a bunch of turbo parts and wanting to go obd1. (for tuning purpose) the only thing is that i dont want to switch out a manifold again. is there a way that i can bypass or re-wire my 3 wire iacv to a 2 wire iacv? everyone i talked to just tells me to get another manifold and i really dont want to go though that again. if there is a simple way i can use my automatic y8 manifold and somehow get a 2 wire iacv on it, please let me know how. pics? write up? anyone running a stock y7 manifold? or a auto y8 manifold? if its gunna be a headache, imma just use a fmu for now until i have the time and patients to do the work |

Re: 3 wire iacv
so do you just do that to the ecu and thats it?
or do i actually have to get a new iacv (a 2 wire one) so i keep the 3 wire iacv on...and just re-pin the ecu? |
Re: 3 wire iacv
u get a two wire iacv and repin it

Re: 3 wire iacv
yeah..the only issue i have is finding a way to mount a 2 wire iacv onto my intake manifold.
since im using a automatic y8 manifold ad reusing my y7 tb, the iacv is mounted on the tb. ive been trying to find a way to relocate it so it deoesnt have to be on tb and manifold, but having a hard time searching for it. thanks for the replies tho. highly appreciated |
