i installed upgraded turbo chip to work with 3 bar map sensor, but i still didnt got the map sensor so i started my car with stock map sensor and missing link but the car starts to cut out at 4000rpm is that normal?
and i'm getting code 3 (Map Sensor Deactivated)

make sure u wired it right to start off. Did u solder it or use liek butt connectors...

You will definitely have to wait for the 3bar map.

 

I think you already diagnosed your problem.......get the 3bar MAP sensor in there the ECM is programed for it. It expects to see a signal from a 3bar MAP not the oem MAP. It is confused.
