205hp at 10psi on LS..
well, i got my car dyno tuned at RS motors in MN.
the results 204.5 hp and 194.8 tq
problem is, im boosting 10psi, and ive seen LS motors running more power..
I rebuilt the engine with new honda OEM bearings, Eagle rods, wiseco pistons (8.8:1 compression), RC 550cc injectors, drop in block guard, the head has crower valvetrain, new water pump, oil pump, etc. the car has the DRAG III turbo kit on it.. my entire exhaust is kteller 3" piping, but my DP is only 2.5" which i think is my problem.. my computer management is hondata S200 w/boost, MSD 3bar MAP sensor.. i got everything for the car to be tuned well, just dont know why my power is so low??
anyone have any ideas why im only putting down only 204 hp?? the torque is looking good tho..

yep...definatley something wrong, weather it be bad boost leaks, or bad tuner.

start with the small things first, the tq is good, the hp is low but its not crazy low, you are running about .5 compression point less that stock.
and just because you have pistons and rods doesnt mean you are going to make more power, it just means you can handle more on a good tune. dyno graph will help us out more if you can post it up

Post up the dyno graph w/ the A/F ratio. That'll tell us wether or not it's your tuner.
Otherwise you did mention that you built the motor, was it your first one?

theres a local stock LS around here makin 304whp and 225 tq at 12psi.... 3inch DP
and my roomates bone stock LS is makin 255whp and 222 tq @ 11psi with almost the same setup as the 304 but just a 2.5 inch DP/exhaust
what size exhaust are you runnin?

I think they have a mustang dyno.

i would bet the timing needs help. with low comp. you should be able to get away with some timing. nail down afr then add timing till you see peak hp, then pull a deg or two to be safe.

na, its a stock cam and stock intake manifold ls, 6kish is right for peak power, and around 5k for peak tq

Stock NA LS's torque drops like a rock after 4500, so bear that in mind. My guess is there is a leak somewhere. If its small enough, you'll still be making Xpsi, but a lot of air will be leaking, and power used to push it out there. Spray starter fluid (for cars, not grills) around every possible leak point, see if it changes the idle.
The turbo is probably a t3/t04b. The fuel maps on my D16 with the s-trim t3/t04b show enough fuel used to make a good 220whp, 10psi at 4k rpm. Yours should spool much quicker, but the graph is doesn't have a peak where you reach full boost. Either that, or the peak at 5200 is where it hit 10psi, and its leaking bad.

that is the old mustang dyno software and it was supposed to not be used after august first i believe, the new software we got from them is called "power dyne" and has many more features and is more inline with other dynos, as it offers a built in correction factor HP as well, via the built in weather station on the side of the computer
