Hey guys.. I got a 93 Eg, All stock with a 98 D16Y8 motor and trans. From you guys' experience on SOHC VTEC Turbo set-ups.. can anyone here tell me what Turbo Kit & internals they recommend so that the car will perform at its fullest when bolted on? I dont want to mess with Ebay specials and since this would be my first Turbo project, are there any specific Tunning (settings)(performance) out comes i should be setting a goal towards? I was also told i should look into something with 8-12lbs of boost ( is that correct )
My funds are limited to $4200

 

There are two really good "bolt-on" street legal turbo kits for that set-up:

These will even leave you enough money to do an exhaust and clutch upgrade if you have not done so already.

go with the edelbrock kit and youd be much happier with a one time install. never really liked the greddy kit you'll just end up spending more upgrading it to run with the bigboys.
