18 hours of driving with JRSC?
Anyone with a JRSC:
Have you ever run your car for extended periods, and were there any problems? I know these things create a ton of hot air. I’m driving from Cen Cal up to BC Canada, about an 18 hour drive. I have done it many times before, just not with the JRSC. Usually when I do the drive, I go straight for 18 hours, with maybe a total of two or three hours stopped.
Motor is a D16A6, JRSC, with the stock JRSC Fuel Management at stock boost (5.5Lbs, kit was purachsed new). Car runs fine now, no problems. Can anyone think of any issues that could be created by driving the car with the blower for that long at one time?
Thanks!

You will be fine man. Just make sure your belts are good and tight before you make the trip. It will also be a good idea to bring a spare belts (supercharger and crank pulley) and tools just incase you end up shreading one on the road
Never thought of taking a spare belt, good call. Just did a quick search, didnt see this, so anyone know what a stock D16A6 JRSC belt part number would be from autozone or kragen? Or do I have to get the JR ones? I would assume there is some match out there.....
there is a match out there, its not a custom belt.
you should be fine, several buddies of mine have gone cross country with them.

Exactly what i did...The only down side was it wasn't 100% identical.. off by 1 1/4 inch. But...There are ways around it! Worked for me....

Right on guys, thanks for the help. Hopefully I will time to get that done before I go. Packing a house to move from one country to the next sucks.
