Ive have this thing for about 2 years and could never get it to work right before. So i figured while the motors out getting rebuild Im going to try to get it working. But I dont know where to go for help since hrtunings website is down. Any help would be great.
www.hrtuning.com is not down. Please post on the forum or state what you actually need help with and be sure to check out the TunerView II Help on the right side of the website.

Im going to do that later. I used a different computer and it let me go to yalls site. I gotta figure out how to get everything else up and running with ectune.
Pretty easy. Select eCtune as the system, Setup your layout, Check Use Demon if you have a Demon, Click Program, make sure your cable is pinned correctly (See Help), and plug it into the right ports (See Help). Done.

I got the tuner view programmed and all. But idk if i can text to see if it works with the ecu till i get the motor back in or can I?
The good news is you already know it works, you connected and programmed it so if it's setup correctly you're good to go. The ECU would need to be powered in order to test it with the display. That's outside of what I can help you with.

I've mentioned taking a look at the help four times now... You want the Port Connections section.

Well I did everything your help page said. Its programmed right and whenever I good it up and power the ecu up I get no power at all. Been having problems for 2 years since I bought it and its never worked. Just never messed with it again bc the car was down for a year and half.
You'd get power from the ECU unless your ECU has an issue on CN2 or you don't have it plugged into the right port, which would mean you didn't follow the help. Sorry your phone decided to cut out, but you can post here, on the HRTuning forum, or write me via email on any of the email addresses on our contact page.

The help page says on chipped based software like ectune ect. to plug it into the bottom port on the Tuner View. I have a new inline demon and cables from yall. So I should have the right wires and I know the demon and ecu had power to it.
A Moates Demon you mean? You didn't get that from us if you're using it with eCtune. You didn't mention a Demon before. The Demon is not a chip based system (Because it's not a chip), so you weren't looking at the right help section. What you need to look at is that section titled The Demon Interface Module and I believe you have one from the last time we spoke.

Awesome. The Demon Interface Module page of the help says the middle port, not the bottom port, so you looked on the wrong page before. You need to check the checkbox "Using Demon" and program the display again. If it's all installed right and your Demon is setup properly (Sorry, you're using eCtune so I can't help you there) then you should have no trouble powering up and getting data. Enjoy!

Sorry, didn't see that last post. If you plug it in to USB and it lights up properly then the unit is fine and you likely just didn't hook it up correctly. If you really need it tested you can send it in to the address on the contact page.
