Scangauge
Hey whats going on everyone? ok so ive been looking up different things as far as gauges and i ran across this thing called the ScanGauge. ive read on some sites that people are getting incredible gas mileage because of it. not that im really focusing on MPG, but does it do anything else. i've searched google and cant find anyone talking about it being on a civic like mine, 98 EX. So is it just a trip gauge? or can you do preformace things on it as well?
yea i first was looking just becuase i heard it did intake temp., digital water temp, tps opening, and can monitor runs. Then i saw where it has a fuel cut off and HP adjust or something i forget exactly how the term was used. Just didnt know if there was other adjustments or things adjustable by the tool. my orginal plan was do pod pillars with gauges i just think the scangauge would be good for less room and more accurate reading. so should i get it or not?
the main purpose for the scangauge is to provide real time MPG readings, like on some newer cars. It only works on OBD2 systems unfortunately, or I would have them on all my cars.
