Default PCB-N51 immobilizer help

So i have an h22a swap on an automatic accord, I recently purchased a pcb-n51 auto ecu. the car runs ok on the accord ecu but obviously id rather have it on this one.

The only problem is the immobilizer, i want to stay obdII, the accord is a 97 so it does not have a chipped key. i have tried searching and have not found anyone successfully disabling the immobilizer, another thing i was thinking is placing resistors to trick the immobilizer. does anyone have a list of the common resistances to these ecu's? im not a thief you can pm me if you don't want to give them out.

Or if there is someone out there who can delete/ flash it off for me i have paypal and can ship it if you would like. im looking to get it done asap.

Most people in your position would back convert to obd1, as there are plenty of off the shelf options to run the car..

I don't know much about immobilizer issues except to avoid them like the plague. I don't even think hondata, the biggest players in the game, have a solution for the obdII imobilizers, aside from somehow cracking the k ecu which i don't believe you can run.

My only other guess would be to get the "chip key" hardware hooked up to the ecu and find a dealer that would re-sync the chip key to the ecu.. which may be hard to find.

There is some guidance on the PGMFI wiki about how to chip OBD2, but it involves completely replacing the processor with another that can only be flashed one time, and is expensive(~$80/per unit last I checked).

I would recommend just going obd1 and not ever having to deal with it again. have a chat with xenocron around here and he can point you to the parts you could get from him to make life easier.

The car is an automatic so going obd1 will only be hard but very expensive. A boomslang conversion harness is 500$ plus. they are not cheap. and I'm not gonna go back in time to obd1 it just doesn't make sense in this case.

Someone out there has to have unlocked immobilizers on obdII ecus. pleas help me out guys.

obd2a -> obd1 conversion harness - $27 w/ free shipping..

obd2b -> obd1 conversion harness - $30 shipped

then, buy an auto p28 with an h22 basemap. or a p13. that may cost you around $150 - $200. The car can still run fine on a manual ecu, you may just not get as good gas mileage on the highway due to the lockup solenoid functionality not being enabled. Most people selling chipped ECUs will know how to deal with the auto trans on the H22 in terms of a basemap on an auto ECU.. if you tell them that, they can set up an ECU for you that should work fine. Xenocron, hondata, phearable, all those guys can likely do this, and make your life a lot easier.

good luck..

'96 USDM P13s don't have an immobilizer for that one year only, that would be the easiest solution.
