Ok so I switched shells and my last car was a 1992 hatch as well. The difference is that on my old car the Map came out of the wiring harness and had the typical Yel/Red, white,Grn/Wht wiring but the new one has a separate MAP that is wired straight to the ECU. Has anyone dealt with this issue? I need to wire up My 3Bar map soon somebody give me some insight. And yes I searched but everything links to Hondata's MAP wiring site and its for the other MAP

Wire the map sensor to the wires running from the firewall to the ecu on your civic....

I would do that but the colors aren't the same and I can't find the correct pin out diagram

Use a multi-meter to verify what wire is what....

What colors are the wires ?
Yellow is usually always power (5 volts to the map sensor)
Green is usually always ground.
Red or White is usually the signal color...

 

Alright mine are white, Green/blue stripe, Yellow/green stripe. Anybody gotta clue?

i just did one it was white -signal
yellow/red-5 volts
green/red ground
1993 civic si also
