So i realize this is a pretty stupid N3WB question and I searched for an answer but wasnt quite sure how to word it, but when you install a Hondata s300 on an Ecu does the stock map get erased or become unusable in anyway? I was planning on finding a stock map to upload and tune off of that but I havent been able to find a free one to download.

 

They have basemaps on the s300 you just click open new and options will pop up.

 

Ok I’ll check that out. To my original question tho if i just plug the ecu in now will the stock map still be on it or no?

 

No, with j1 jumped it will run off what ever is in the 27sf512 socket. If you remove the j1 jumper it will run like a stock ecu
