Hondata S300
Hey everyone. I'm going to be swapping a b16a2 (1.9L after the stroker kit) into my CRX. It'll be turbocharged with at least 400HP. I want to be able to adjust the boost for normal driving and fun driving. Is The S300 a good choice? Thanks for any input.
You should be able to achieve anything you want with it. Can set up boost by gear, and also a switch for hi boost and low boost as long as you have a boost control solenoid setup.
Pretty decent for basic setups, and it's the best of the options available for stock ecu-based systems. Hardest part at this point is finding a decent donor ecu to use and making sure it is properly refurbished with new capacitors, etc.
If you find yourself wanting to add features - Coil on plug, traction control, etc. - They add up fast and you are very quickly in a place where you're better served going for a proper ecu that has all of that built in along with much more modern/faster hardware and much better software too.
