cuz he said it won't let him get pasted 4000rpm
i bought the serial cable from newegg.com
and when i plug in the interface box, and click connect in romeditor4. nothing happens
the cable driver is installed. and i saw the real hondata cable and theres no difference
between the two.

In order to use RE4 you MUST have the cable from hondata which is a little over 100 bucks. it has a small electronic piece in the cable. And without it RE4 will not connect or do anything.
Also if the present MAP thats in your ECU is written in RE3, you cant read it with RE4 as they are 2 different types of files.
I quickly stopped using RE4 as i just didnt like it very much

Mike,
Re4 is $199 with the cable. You can contact any hondata dealer to purchase it.
I use & have used re4 on several cars without issues.
I personally like it better then re3.
