Haltech PS1000 Trigger setup for OBD1
I have a Del Sol that has an old Haltech Platinum Sport 1000 ECU. It has a really old plug and play harness that is made of potting epoxy and has Haltech lasered into it. The engine was shot so I rebuilt it but it did run decent with the old tune. Tune was password protected or firmware incompatible so I had to wipe it and start fresh. The car still has the stock dizzy converted to an external MSD blaster coil. I thought you were supposed to run these with 24 multitooth + 1 home settings and a 445 trigger angle but it seems really unhappy. It will crank and fire but then quickly lock up like the timing is too advanced and then continue doing the same thing over and over again. It's impossible to keep it running. Would any of the old OG tuners help me out on getting this old PS1000 trigger settings correctish to fire this car correctly?
