Hi im thinking about buying a 1992-95 (correct if wrong) civic coupe lsi. I believe they are the d15b7(agin correct if wrong im new to honda engines).

Ive been reading up on mini-me head swaps etc.. and was also considering a EX tranny swap from the 96-00 EX coupe(SR in the uk? which is from d16y8?)

After this does anyone know if there are any services in the UK that will alow a re-map to optimise performance further?

As you can tell i AM new to hondas and their capabilities. But i am willing and believe that they have great potential and are great little tuners.

"RE-mapping" as you are referring to would involve socketing the ECU and installing a chip with a basemap programmed for your engine. The best way to do this is either have your ECU socketed or purchase an ECU that is already socketed and then have your car tuned on a dyno. There's much more info on this, but this is the basics for you...
