BRN/BLK are grounds
YEL/BLK are 12v power

Guess the first thing would be to buy a Helms manual for your car and get as much info on the wiring as you can. Then make a list of what plugs you don't need and go from there. Google is a pretty good place for wiring info. Kind of hard to remove sensors from a system when your using a stock OBD2 ECU.

I want to make my own harness again. I rebuilt my stock harness for a wire tucked bay but I started half assing things and didn't want to get too deep into wiring so it is not as clean as something completely taken apart or started from scratch. Most think it is good but since I did it, it bothers me because it isn't perfect. Good luck!

well what I did for my H22 in an EG was get the service manual, the wiring section.. Usually you have to go plug by plug and figure out where wires go. The other option is to take a look at the last page, at least it was the last page for me on the 92-95 civic manual it had a picture of the obd1 diagram in its fullest, I took the photo to kinkos and had them enlarge it and I taped it on the side of my car as I worked on the harness. This is actually quite a bitch to do since you have to trace each wire manually.

Each sensor also has a troubleshooting section to it to check for wire breaks and has you test the pin on the ecu to the sensor in the engine bay. I would make a list of every sensor you have on the car....scratch that.. make a list of every sensor you want to use in your car then make notes as to where each wire goes to on the ecu, this lets you figure out what "Sensor grounds" can be connected together in the engine bay or join all the wires right before each A/B/D plug on the ecu.

There really isn't a whole lot of instructions on how to do this you just kinda have to dive in and make mistakes and fix them.

Come to think of it, once you do this once the wiring diagram isnt something you generally forget. Good luck, it is a task.
