Default Where to buy OEM main bearings?

Replacing the main/rod bearings in a DOHC ZC (blacktop) and I'm having trouble finding the Yellow main bearings - 13325-PH3-004

Where do you get them? is there a way to substitute them for aftermarket?
The other colors are mostly available, even from Honda dealers, what gives with the yellow?

Also, can anyone look at my mains and tell me how likely it is that my crank is still okay.

They look alright. Measuring is key tho.

Honda is discontinuing a lot of them. You have a few options...
  1. Buy slightly thicker oem bearings and lightly sand the back of the bearing till you get your desired clearance.
  2. Buy aftermarket bearings and hope they fit. And if not lightly sand the back to get your desired clearance.
  3. If you need more clearance you can micropolish the crank or hone the journal.

Can anyone help me understand this:
Bearing C Main - Honda (13323-PK1-752)

According Toronto Honda Parts
https://www.torontohondaparts.com/oe...in-13323pk1752
SKU: 13323-PK1-752
Replaces: 13323-PG6-003, 13323-PG6-004, 13323-PH3-003, 13323-PH3-004

This seems to be a conflict, is it for 88-91 or 1995-2005 or is it the same?

All other PK1-752 bearings are for 95-05

Incredibly annoying to have Honda go empty on stock of a main bearing for such an insanely mass produced engine.

Honda bought their bearings from Daido bearings. The manufacturing process used creates small variations on thickness. They don't actually target the differing thicknesses you find, they produce a bunch of bearings, and then they grade them based on the measured thicknesses. So, Honda can't just order more yellow's. They'd have to do a full production run and hope they get X amount of yellows. When honda reuses the same design, we win, as in B series main bearings being the same as K series main bearings. As for your compatibility, I'm not sure. Hopefully the info is out there, sometimes cross referencing what aftermarket parts are compatible with will help you.

The Honda ZC blacktop engine utilizes a color-coded system for its main TBS bearings to indicate different thicknesses, with the yellow-colored bearings (part number 13325-PH3-004) corresponding to a standard thickness. These bearings are manufactured by Taiho and are integral to maintaining proper oil clearance and engine performance. However, sourcing the yellow main automotive bearings can be challenging, as they have been discontinued by Honda. Some online retailers may still list them, but availability is limited. For instance, HondaPartsNow notes that the 13325-PH3-004 bearing is discontinued, and Honda Mower Engines lists it as a special order item with a factory backorder greater than 21 days
